Chamber Recognizes Honorees at 108th Annual Meeting

The Chamber held its 108th Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 19, recognizing some extremely well-deserved recipients that play an important role in education and the lives of young people in our community, along with a great message from UNC System President, Tom Ross, of the importance of North Carolina’s UNC System to our Twin Counties. The impact of the Universities was noted to be quite large for our area in educating our young people and in partnering for more advanced educational opportunities as our communities, as well as our state, move through these economic times.

Please join us in recognizing the accomplishments of our Distinguished Citizen of the Year, Reverend Richard Joyner; our two Woody Brown Award Winners - Reuben Blackwell, Rocky Mount O.I.C., and Ken Anderson, Cummins Rocky Mount Engine Plant; and our Ambassador of the Year, Erin Gall of Allegra Design Print Marketing.
